Dates matter!

When it comes to selecting the best day to close, it is best to avoid Friday closing dates. Mistakes occur when people are rushing through their paperwork to beat the Friday deadline. It’s also important to prioritize time for funding, if the slightest setback occurs, funding may not happen until Monday. The same goes for holidays. It is important to allow some leeway to account for delays. Instead of Fridays or holidays, suggest setting the closing date for the middle of the week or right after a holiday so the process isn’t rushed.
